FACE TO FACE 2008. POLAND MEETS GERMANY WITH MOHO DESIGN

International meeting of design experts and their clients – Face to Face - was held from 23 to 25 October 2008 in Ludwigsburg, which is famous as a film, media and design centre. Face to Face 2008 brought designers and businessmen from Poland and Germany together. On the Polish side, this year’s partner was the “Silesian Castle of Art and Business” in Cieszyn.

Face to Face is the only design conference worldwide to constantly bring design clients and professional designers onto the stage together – since 2000. So far to participate in Face to Face was invited: Great Britain, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, Austria and Esthonia. At Face to Face, the focus is on dialogue between professional designers and design clients: bringing people together – actively, directly, and across borders. They make design processes publicly known, and present projects from design, architecture and the world of business .

Last conference ‘s editions brought measurable results such as economic collaboration growth. We’d like to reach similar effect – persuade Ewa Golebiowska

 

During his year’s conference, participants could meet such designers and bussinessmen as: Michał Stefanowski from Grupa Projektowa Centrala, Tomasz Rudkiewicz from Studio Graficzne Homework, Michał Biernacki and Studio Projektowe Code Architecture & Design, Bakalie Studio Brandingowe, Agata Danielak – Kujda, Tomasz Rygalik, Tomasz Konior and Robert Konieczny and at last Magda Lubińska from Moho Design. Together with designers on the stage were presented their clients.

Magda Lubińska and Michał Biernacki presented  rugs  collection – The Rock Collection designed for Italian brand Moroso, which was for the first time shown at Moroso showroom during London Design Festival.
